Can Not Login - Cookie Problems

Some of our users are unable to login to Your Account because the browser did not allow a cookie to be set. Below are the instructions for allowing cookies if you are using an Internet Explorer browser version 6. Other browsers should have similar settings that can be adjusted.

First check to see what your privacy settings are in Internet Explorer

1. Select Tools in Menu bar at the top of the browser.
2. What you thought your user name was
3. Click on Internet Options...

 

4. Click on Privacy tab
5. If it is set to Block All Cookies, then you will not be able to login.

 

To be able to access your account you have two choices.

You can lower the security settting to Medium High or lower. Doing this will impact all websites you visit with your browser.

1. On the Privacy tab, drag the slider slowly down until the text on the right reads Medium High or lower.

 

2. Click Apply at the bottom of the page.
3. Click OK at the bottom of the page.

Now try to login to Your Account at www.bidwhistonline.com. You may want to restore your setting back to the original after you have finished. In step 1, return the slider to your original settings then follow the other steps.

Alternatively, you can make a change that just impacts the bidwhistonline.com site. Doing the following steps adds bidwhistonline.com to your trusted site.

1. Click on the Security tab on the Internet Options page (see above)
2. Click on Trusted sites
3. Click on Sites...

 

4. In the box for "Add this Web site to the zone: type http://www.bidwhistonline.com
5. Click on Add

 

6. Click on Close at the bottom of the page.
7. click OK at bottom of page.

Now try to login to Your Account at www.bidwhistonline.com. If you wish, you may repeat the steps above to remove bidwhistonline.com from your trusted site. For step 4, Under "Web Sites" highlight http://www.bidwhistonline.com. For step 5, click remove.
